In the far west of Cornwall in between the pretty fishing village of Mousehole and Lamorna Cove and above the wooded Lamorna Valley lies the tiny rural hamlet of Castallack, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Both of our Cornish Cottages enjoy lovely rural views, and are set with the owners’ home around a gravelled courtyard, on their 30-acre working farm.
Situated on the Cornish Way, walks lead from the doorstep to the lovely Cornish Coast Path; it is a 10-minute stroll to the valley and a little further to the cove. The area is steeped in Celtic history and rich in delightful sandy beaches and coves. Minack cliff-top theatre, 8 miles. Penzance 3½ miles. St Ives 9 miles. Pub 1 mile.
Trevean Cottage and Tremerth Cottage are alongside the bridleway that runs through our small 30 acre farm from which you can enjoy lovely rural views by day & the clearest , twinkling skies at night. Watch out for the tiny, flitting pipestrelle bats catching their supper or if you’re really lucky the barn owl doing the same.
A well behaved dog is welcome (at no extra charge) to enjoy the great walks from the doorstep.
