The Location.
In the far west of Cornwall, 4 miles west of Penzance and 9 miles from Lands End, lies the lovely wooded valley of Lamorna leading to the magical & much painted Lamorna Cove.
Above the valley, on the winding road leading to the picturesque village of Mousehole is the tiny rural hamlet of Castallack. 

Trevean Cottage nestles here alongside the old & tastefully converted buildings of Castallack Farm. The peace & tranquillity of it's location is loved by it's visitors, many of whom return every year & never tire of exploring the scenic Lands End peninsula with it's many delightful sandy beaches, prehistoric Celtic sites, coves & coastal footpaths.

The location, designated as an "area of outstanding natural beauty", offers wonderful walks from the doorstep to the renowned Cornish coastal path, opportunities to swim, surf or just laze on the pale golden sands of Whitesand Bay or Porthcurno. 

Visit the nearby internationally acclaimed `Minack Theatre', St Michaels Mount the jewel in the crown, St Ives with the Tate gallery, lovely gardens particularly in the spring & the Eden Project. The Isles of Scilly are but a day trip away.
