This male badger about 3 years old & weighing 9kgs has had an anaesthetic & been checked for TB. He was released about twenty minutes later when he was fully recovered. It is about the 3rd time that we have had The Royal Zooligical Society of London here to check some of our badgers.

We planted the wood over 20 years ago with Oak, Alder, Ash, Sycamore & Hawthorn. Already a haven for wildlife it’s an area we are re-wilding for the enjoyment of creatures great & small – including you.
